SNOW HILL, N.C. (AP) - A third man has been arrested in a North Carolina shooting death last week.

Local media reported that 24-year-old Gregory Alexander Cogdell Jr. of Grifton was arrested earlier this week.

Members of the Kinston Police Department, the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrested Cogdell in Snow Hill.

He’s charged in the April 10 death of 30-year-old Omar Leander Langley. Investigators say Langley was shot as he was driving home from work in Kinston. It was not known if Cogdell has an attorney.

Two other men were arrested earlier and also charged with murder. They are 19-year-old Joshua Hykeem Joseph of Grifton and 21-year-old Acor Markivious Jones of Greenville.

Investigators think Langley was shot in retaliation for earlier shootings in Pitt County.
