HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) - A man has been arrested for organized retail theft after police say he stole thousands of dollars in property from multiple businesses in High Point.

The News & Records reports (https://bit.ly/2pffTYq ) 38-year-old Charles Robert Hazelwood has been charged after police found the stolen property at his home.

High Point Police say in a news release that the arrest was the result of a three-month investigation by the property crimes unit and multiple area law enforcement agencies.

Hazelwood has been charged with receiving stolen property, obtaining property by false pretenses and organized retail theft. He was being held at Guildford County jail on a $100,000 bail. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
