NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has pleaded guilty to robbing a group of banks.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/2oTXr6E) that 39-year-old James Lockwood, of Newark, pleaded guilty to four counts of bank robbery in court Tuesday. Authorities say Lockwood robbed four banks in Kearny, Lyndhurst and Clifton over a one-month span last summer.

Lockwood faces up to 20 years in prison for each robbery along with a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 2.
