ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a teenager is facing homicide charges in the shooting death of a man outside an Aliquippa home.

Police officers called shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday found the victim shot to death in front of a house. A woman with him had a cellphone that had been struck by a bullet.

Police said the victim called 911 minutes before he was shot to report that he was trying to pick up his son at a home but wasn’t being allowed inside.

A woman who had accompanied him said a 16-year-old youth confronted him, the two argued and the youth then pulled out a gun and fired four shots.

Authorities said the teenager would face criminal homicide, attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges.
