WEST SUNBURY, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a western Pennsylvania man missing since last month was found dead in a creek bed over the weekend with his neck slashed.
State police in Butler County say 55-year-old Gregory Bosko was found dead shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area of Concord Township.
Coroner William Young III said the Kittanning man’s death had been ruled a homicide. He said the fatal injuries likely happened on or around March 20, when he was reported missing.
The victim’s brother said his brother left on that day to give two people a ride to Butler, and items were missing from his brother’s home.
Daniel Bosko told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he and his family are stunned by the brutality of his brother’s death, which he called “horrendous.”
