RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say four people are facing charges related to the smuggling of drugs into a correctional facility in Rutland.

Police say corrections officers caught 20-year-old Emma Decubellis of Rutland trying to bring drugs to an inmate at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on March 19 during visiting hours.

Police say an investigation found that that inmate and another inmate had been working with Decubellis and 45-year-old Jennifer Boule of Rutland to try to smuggle drugs into the facility.

One inmate will be arraigned on May 22. The other three suspects are scheduled to appear in court on June 5.

It was not immediately known if the suspects are represented by attorneys.
