WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A 57-year-old Delaware man is facing charges in a string of robberies in Wilmington and New Castle.

Delaware State Police said Thursday that Eric L. Hubbard of Wilmington was arrested a day earlier at his home without incident.

Police said in a statement that the investigation began after troopers responded to three armed robberies at convenience stores on April 13. Interviews and surveillance video showed they had been committed by the same person.

The statement says after troopers responded to another robbery Tuesday at a pharmacy, they were able to identify Hubbard as the suspect in all four.

He’s been charged with four counts of first-degree robbery and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.

Hubbard has been arraigned and is in custody in lieu of bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
