CAMDEN, N.C. (AP) - Authorities in northeastern North Carolina have arrested three men after shots were fired during a car chase.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office told area media outlets that deputies determined that the driver of one car was firing shots at the other car involved in the chase.
Sheriff Tony Perry said the three people were arrested after the incident on Wednesday.
Perry said 48-year-old Terry Wayne Rose is facing various charges, including felony assault with intent to kill and misdemeanor impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Rose is jailed on a $250,000 bond, and it’s not known if he has an attorney.
Perry said the other two men arrested are facing drug charges.
