COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) - Police have arrested a minimum-security inmate who walked away from a Maryland hospital where he was being treated.
Howard County Police said in a statement that 52-year-old Timothy David Powers was arrested Friday afternoon in Laurel after leaving the Howard County General Hospital in Columbia on Thursday night.
Officers searched the area surrounding the hospital and past known addresses for Powers overnight. The statement says he was taken into custody without incident but does not give any further details.
