STERLING, Va. (AP) - Police say a truck crashed into an apartment complex in northern Virginia after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Virginia State Police say the flatbed truck was driving in Sterling on Friday when the driver lost control. Police say the truck hit the curb, went through a median and crashed into a residence in the Parc Dulles Apartment Homes. No one in the building was injured.
Police identified the driver as 41-year-old Joshua H. Ritter of Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police say Ritter has been charged with reckless driving.
It was not immediately clear on Saturday whether he has an attorney.
