PATERSON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say two people were shot and wounded when gunfire erupted on a Paterson street.
But a motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired around 9:20 p.m. Saturday found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in the torso. They soon learned an 18-year-old man had also been shot and had been driven to a hospital in a private car.
Both victims were treated at the hospital for their injuries. But their names and further details on their condition have not been released.
No arrests have been made.
