Iowa City police investigating death as homicide

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Iowa City police say they’re investigating the death of a man as a homicide.

Police announced Monday they consider the death a homicide based off evidence found at the location where the man’s body was found.

Officers were dispatched to the office of Lederman Bail Bonds around 11:10 a.m. Sunday after someone reported finding a body. The location is across the street from the Johnson County Jail.

The man’s name hasn’t been released.
