CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - A woman has been arrested in connection with the macing and stabbing of another woman in a sports bar restroom.
News outlets report that 50-year-old Angela Faye Parker has been charged with aggravated assault and attempted first-degree murder for the Saturday night incident at Pay Pay’s Lounge.
Chattanooga Police spokesman Rob Simmons says the victim did not discover the stab wound until she had returned home. She is not being identified and is in stable condition. She went to the local hospital and contacted authorities at 12:50 a.m. Sunday. Police interviewed and arrested Parker at the bar at 3:15 a.m.
No motive has been released. It’s unclear if Parker has a lawyer.
