DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa prison authorities are searching for a work release inmate who left his workplace and didn’t return to the Fort Des Moines Residential Correctional Facility.

Des Moines television station KCCI reports (https://bit.ly/2pn75ge ) that 35-year-old Demarco Montez Henderson, 35, left his workplace Thursday and is considered an escapee.

Iowa Department of Corrections officials say Henderson was convicted of second-degree robbery, going armed with intent and voluntary absence in Polk County and was admitted to the work release facility on March 30.
