DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - An overnight manager at a laundromat in an Atlanta suburb was shot and killed outside the business.
DeKalb County police tell local media they received a call early Friday reporting a person shot outside Coin Laundry in Decatur.
Police Lt. Mark Lavigne says when officers arrived they found a man in the parking lot with several gunshot wounds.
Lavigne says the 25-year-old victim went into the parking lot to confront two men before they shot him multiple times and ran away. Detectives talked to customers who witnessed the shooting and were reviewing surveillance footage from the laundromat that captured the incident.
The victim’s identity has not been released and the shooters remain at large.
