CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (AP) - Police say the victim of a hit-and-run crash in Central Falls has died.
Joseph Sylvia was found unconscious and bleeding in the middle of the street April 20 after being hit. Police say the 65-year-old man died from his injuries Thursday.
Police arrested 45-year-old Angel Otero and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident. Police say they plan to file additional charges after Sylvia’s death.
Otero was being held as a Superior Court violator. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer representing him.
