PALMYRA, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say more than two dozen marijuana plants were found at a New Jersey man’s home when they went there to arrest him on child pornography charges.

Burlington County prosecutors say James Hightower is charged with operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility, distributing or dispensing the substance and child endangerment. A telephone number for him could not br located Saturday and it wasn’t known if he’s retained an attorney.

Authorities say the 48-year-old Palmyra man wouldn’t let authorities in when they arrived at his home Friday morning. They then forced their way in and soon found 26 marijuana plants overall growing in his living room and garage.

Authorities say Hightower had uploaded images of young girls engaged in sex acts with men. They had started investigating him after getting information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
