SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) - Officials say they have found two hikers that were reported missing on Saturday in a canyon in northern Utah.

KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2o24b1N ) that the Utah County Sheriff’s Office found the men Sunday in Spanish Fork Canyon. Family members reported the men missing when they did not come home Saturday as they had planned.

Sgt. Spencer Cannon says a search and rescue team, the sheriff’s mount posse and the Utah Department of Public Safety’s helicopter were sent out to the find the men. Officials say they quickly found the men after they found their car near Monk’s Hollow Trailhead in Spanish Fork. The men told officials that they had decided to stay another day without letting their families know.
