GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A man’s body was recovered from along the edge of the Missouri River in Great Falls.

Officials say a woman walking her dog along the river spotted the body near the Ninth Street Bridge on Sunday morning.

Great Falls Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Bob Shupe tells KFBB-TV that it looked like the body had been submerged for quite a while.

Cascade County Sheriff Bob Edwards says the body will be taken to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy and identification.
