MIDDLETON, Wis. (AP) - Police are holding a man suspected in the killing of an 82-year-old woman in the Madison suburb of Middleton.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Agnes Bram.
Police say a family member found Bram’s body in her garage in Middleton on Friday afternoon. A preliminary autopsy report suggests Bram died of blunt force trauma to the head.
The Wisconsin State Journal (https://bit.ly/2qlZezN ) reports investigators developed a lead on a possible suspect. The man was found at UW Hospital in one of the visitor rooms.
Middleton Police Capt. Steven Britt says the suspect, who is in his 50s, was searched and body samples were taken Saturday afternoon after police obtained a warrant. He was arrested late that afternoon.
