BRICK, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man accused of selling a lethal dose of heroin to a 26-year-old man has been charged.
NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/2nPtG3L) that 26-year-old Timothy Baker, of Jackson, was charged with strict liability drug-induced death, possession of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin Thursday.
Police say Timothy Palazzolo, of Brick, died in January after using heroin he bought from Baker. Authorities say they found Palazzolo unresponsive in his home but were not able to revive him. Police say an investigation later led them to Baker.
Baker has been in the Ocean County Jail since January for unrelated drug charges. It was not known if Baker had an attorney.
