DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Two alleged Gangster Disciples gang members have been convicted in connection with a deadly crime spree.

The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Yvette Jones says Thursday a jury convicted 22-year-old Joseph Broxton and 24-year-old Daniel Pena for killing three people and wounding three others following a series of attacks.

The spree started July 3, 2015, when the duo allegedly shot and killed Edward Chadman in Stone Mountain after trying to rob him.

On July 30, 2015, Jones says the gang was involved in four shootings, two of them deadly, in less than 24 hours. The shootings claimed the lives of Oliver Campbell and Roxquell Nelson.

Two other gang members who were indicted in the crime spree pleaded guilty and were sentenced.

It’s unclear whether Broxton or Pena has attorneys.
