GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a Greenville nightclub bouncer was wounded while trying to make someone leave the club.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release that deputies were called to Club Luna at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

They found the wounded bouncer and gave him medical aid until an ambulance arrived.

The news release says an altercation broke out when the bouncer was making the suspect leave and a shot was fired.

Other security officers from the club detained the suspect after the shooting.

The news release didn’t say what charges the suspect may face.
