PHOENIX (AP) - Police say a suspect has been arrested after two men were shot and wounded during a fight outside a south Phoenix convenience store.

They say 18-year-old Naki Trussell has been booked into jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

It was unclear Tuesday if Trussell has a lawyer.

Police arrested two other men involved in the shooting and detained them on unrelated warrants. Their names weren’t immediately released.

Witnesses told police that five men were involved in a fight before someone began shooting around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Phoenix Fire Department officials say two men were transported to hospitals in serious but stable condition.

The names of the wounded men haven’t been released.

Police say detectives from the department’s Gang Unit are continuing the investigation into the shooting.
