JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say one man was killed and another was wounded when shots rang out on a Jersey City street.

Nineteen-year-old city resident Jaharee Broadway was found around 1:25 p.m. Sunday by police responding to reports of shots fired on Forrest Street. Authorities say he had been shot multiple times and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A wounded 22-year-old city man was also taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening. His name and further details on his condition have not been disclosed.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
