CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island say a man has died after being struck by a car.

Newsday reports (https://nwsdy.li/2vUijyF ) a 30-year-old man was struck by a car around 2:20 a.m. Sunday in Central Islip. Suffolk County police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Police have charged the 36-year-old Central Islip woman who was driving the car with aggravated unlicensed operation for driving with a suspended license.



Police haven’t released the identity of the victim.
