OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Ogden police say they have arrested two male teens in connection with a shooting where a woman was fatally injured as she slept in her home.

According to an Ogden Police Department news release, 47-year-old Maria Sanchez was shot multiple times on Sunday while she was sleeping in her bed. Sanchez died in a hospital the following day.

Ogden Police Lt. Danielle Croyle says officers took three people into questioning after gathering information. One adult was later released and two 16-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of first-degree felony murder. One teen is also suspected of obstruction of justice.

As of Tuesday, the teens were not identified and no charges were filed against them.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting and if Sanchez’s was the intended target.
