CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Cape Girardeau police have identified the victim who was fatally shot over the weekend at a convenience store, and say they’re seeking a man in connection with the shooting.

The Southeast Missourian reports that 22-year-old Jimmy Latray Walker was found about 3:45 a.m. Saturday a few blocks from the Rhodes 101 Stop convenience store, where the shooting occurred. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Police are searching for a Charleston, Missouri, man whom they believe may have information about the killing. Police have not called the man a suspect.

Police say dozens of bullet casings were found on the convenience store parking lot. Several vehicles parked at the store were hit by bullets.
