Authorities identify man who died in crash near New Town

BELCOURT, N.D. (AP) - Authorities had identified a man who died in a head-on collision near New Town.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Christian Wolf, of New Town, died Tuesday when his Chevrolet Spark crossed the center line of state Highway 23 and struck a Ford pickup driven by a 59-year-old Sheila Winkleman, of Seligman, Missouri.

Wolf died at the scene. Winkleman was transported to a Minot hospital for medical treatment. Her condition is not known.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
