MONTEBELLO, Calif. (AP) - Investigators say the suspect in the fatal shooting of a pregnant mother of three in Los Angeles County over the weekend is the woman’s estranged husband.
Police in the city of Montebello on Wednesday asked for the public’s help in finding 26-year-old Christopher Michael Diaz.
They say the alleged gang member is suspected of shooting Roxann Acosta at an apartment complex Sunday night.
Officers found the 28-year-old with a single gunshot wound to the head. She died at the scene.
Police say Diaz should be considered armed and dangerous.
