NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Officials say they’re investigating a suspicious fire that tore through a clothing store in Louisiana and damaged two other businesses.

News outlets report the blaze began inside of a Brands for Less clothing store Tuesday at around 3:45 a.m.

Forty-six firefighters arrived at the store to find it engulfed in flames with the front window broken. Two other spaces had moderate water and smoke damage. The fire was brought under control in 35 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The New Orleans Fire Department said in a release that officials are investigating the fire because the window was broken and the business was closed.
