CORAM, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island say a 10-year-old boy has been seriously injured after being struck by his father’s car.

WNBC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2unRiDY ) Suffolk County police responded to an emergency at a home in Coram around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Suffolk Police Assistant Commissioner Justin Meyers says a man ran into his 10-year-old son with his car.

The child was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition.



An investigation is continuing.
