ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say two teenagers face a hearing in juvenile court following an alleged threat to an eastern Pennsylvania high school.
The Lehigh County prosecutor’s office and South Whitehall Township police said Parkland High School “received information of possible threatening action” by two students sometime before the Christmas break.
Local authorities investigated with the help of the Allentown office of the FBI and took two 15-year-olds into custody on Wednesday.
Both are accused of “delinquent acts,” which weren’t specified, and are scheduled to appear at an adjudication hearing Thursday in juvenile court.
Authorities said “there is no longer any known or suspected threat” against the high school.
