LEWISBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia sheriff says a teenage girl who had been the subject of an Amber alert has been found safe and reunited with her family.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan says in a statement on Facebook that tips from the public led deputies to find the 14-year-old girl on Thursday night in the Neola area of the county. She had been reported missing Wednesday.

The statement said she was with 27-year-old Christopher Shawn Rider of Frankford and 21-year-old Charles Robert Krafft of White Sulphur Springs. Rider was charged with failing to register as a sex offender and for a parole violation, and Krafft was charged with aiding and abetting, and aiding and abetting in the abduction of a child.

Additional charges are possible.

Both Rider and Krafft were being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
