NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A Montgomery County man has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a gunfight with a rival gang member.

Philly.com reports (https://bit.ly/2jBqsh9 ) that 24-year-old Devon Vogelsang, of Pottsgrove, pleaded guilty to several charges including attempted first-degree murder. Police say Vogelsang, a member of the gang “Brothas From Anotha”, got into a gunfight with a member of an opposing group inside a Lower Pottsgrove apartment in 2014.

Vogelsang was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison for his involvement in the shootout.



The Pottsgrove native has a criminal record that includes charges of aggravated assault and drug offenses. Vogelsang was arrested as part of a gang investigation led by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
