NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Police have shot and wounded a suspect in a deadly shooting in Newark.
A man was fatally shot in the city Wednesday afternoon.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says officers fired their weapons as they tried to apprehend the shooting suspects.
The prosecutor’s office has not released the name of the shooting victim or the wounded suspect.
No other information was immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
