TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A teacher at a Tucson high school has been indicted on charges accusing him of having a sexual relationship with a student.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says 45-year-old Charles Schubert was indicted on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation.

The department says the Catalina Foothills School District placed Schubert on leave from his job at Catalina Foothills High School immediately after learning of the alleged relationship.

There is no telephone listing under Schubert’s name, and online court records don’t list a defense attorney who could comment on the allegations.
