MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A 19-year-old Missoula woman has been charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence the connection to a crash that killed her boyfriend.

The Missoulian reports (https://bit.ly/2kGdznn ) that Trai Ann Dewey made her initial court appearance Monday after the Friday crash.

Troopers were called Friday night to a crash on U.S. Highway 93 where a Dewey’s northbound vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and was T-boned by another vehicle. Dewey’s passenger, Joseph Neal Bremner of Browning, was killed in the crash.

According to court documents, Dewey told investigators she had smoked marijuana before leaving Missoula to drive to Polson.

Bail was set for $50,000.
