BEND, Ore. (AP) - Police say a self-inflicted cut caused the death of a man whose body was found on a bike path in the resort community of Sunriver.

Officers discovered the body Sunday after receiving calls about a pedestrian whose neck was bleeding.

A Sunriver Police Department news release said the 41-year-old man was known to suffer from mental illness. Several knives were found near his body.
