BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) - David Robertson scored 23 points and UNC Asheville extended its winning streak to nine games, beating Campbell 66-53 on Saturday.

Robertson was 7 of 15 from the floor - all 3-pointers - for the Bulldogs (22-7, 14-2) who lead in the Big South Conference. Will Weeks added 18 points and led with eight rebounds. The team combined for 10 steals, which contributed to 17 Campbell turnovers.

After a slow start for both teams, Robertson sank four 3-pointers late in the first half to push the Bulldogs to a 26-12 lead with 2:27 left in the period. A 3-pointer by Kevin Vannatta early in the second half extended it to 20, 32-16, with 16:47 to go and the Bulldogs led the rest of the way.



Shane Whitfield and Marcus Burk scored 14 points apiece for the Fighting Camels (13-15, 6-10).
