ROXBORO, N.C. (AP) - Roxboro police are investigating the death of a man they believe was shot by accident.
Police Chief David L. Hess tells local media outlets 20-year-old Cornell Torian was at Longhurst Park on Monday at around 5:30 p.m. when two men started arguing.
Officers say they think shots were fired during the fight, and Torian was hit.
Police said they have a person of interest in the case but they’re not releasing that person’s name.
