DOVER, Del. (AP) - A former daycare teacher who pleaded guilty to kissing and touching children has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
WDEL-FM reports (https://bit.ly/2lbosx3 ) that 21-year-old Anthony Rodriguez was sentenced on Friday. He previously pleaded guilty to sexual solicitation of a child and two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust.
Rodriguez kissed and touched the children while he worked as teacher at the Kidz Inc. Academy during the summer of 2015. He also asked a child to perform a sex act on him. Rodriguez was also ordered six months home confinement, two years of probation and he must register as a sex offender.
