FRANKLIN, Maine (AP) - Authorities in Maine are asking for the public’s help in finding a Franklin man who hasn’t been seen in a week.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Russell Burnett was last seen the morning of Feb. 21 after leaving a home in Franklin. His family reported him missing after he’d been gone for nearly two days.

The office says family and friends told them Burnett may be suffering from an illness.

Burnett stands at 5-foot-7 and has hazel eyes and a shaved head. Anyone with information about him or his whereabouts has been asked to call the sheriff’s office.
