COGGON, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man found shot to death in Linn County.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office identified him as 20-year-old Dylan Plotz, who lived in Cedar Rapids. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
Deputies and medics sent Wednesday evening to the scene about five miles southwest of Coggon found Plotz’s body lying in a yard.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says several people were detained for questioning and several searches were conducted. No arrests have been reported.
