LILLIAN, Ala. (AP) - Baldwin County sheriff deputies have launched a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead on her front lawn in Lillian.

WKRG-TV (https://bit.ly/2l65Bnq ) reports 52-year-old Peggy Broz was found deceased by a family member around 8 a.m. Friday. The cause of death has not been confirmed, though the station reports there’s enough evidence to rule the death a homicide.

Authorities are searching for a white 2003 Chrysler Concorde that went missing from the scene and may have ties to the suspect. The Alabama license plate tag is 1HM46.

No further details have been released.
