VOORHEES, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a dispute between two men in Voorhees ended with one being shot multiple times and the other being sought on attempted murder charges.
Camden County prosecutors say the shooting occurred around 10:45 p.m. Friday after the two men got into a verbal dispute that soon turned physical. They say two men knew each other, but they haven’t said what sparked the dispute or identified either man.
The 25-year-old shooting victim, a Voorhees resident, remained hospitalized Saturday. Further details about his injuries have not been disclosed.
Besides the attempted murder count, the alleged assailant also faces a weapons count and an aggravated assault charge. That man remained at large on Saturday.
Authorities say the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
