SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say two teenagers have been charged in the robbery of a delivery driver in which $2 and a pizza were stolen.

The agency said in a news release that the robbery took place Tuesday evening on Nita Drive in Smyrna. Troopers say a driver for Pizza Hut was making a delivery when two teenagers, both wearing masks and brandishing handguns, confronted her.

Police say the robbers took the driver’s cash, which totaled $2, and the pizza she was delivering. The youths then fled through a yard.

A search by officers and a police dog led to a home where items linked to the robbery, including the pizza, were found.

Two male juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and charged with robbery and other offenses.
