MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Butler County School System will soon be looking for a new superintendent.
Superintendent Amy Bryan tells WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/2iZa2QU ) that the school board has accepted her plans to retire at the end of her current contract, which expires in June.
Bryan has been with the school system for 30 years. She says it’s been an honor to serve the system but she’s looking forward to her next title of retiree.
There is no word yet on when the interview process will begin for the new superintendent.
