Conservatives who are eagerly awaiting CPAC — the Conservative Political Action Conference — are in luck. The huge, four-day conference doesn’t begin until late February. On Saturday morning, however, SiriusXM Patriot will debut “The Road to CPAC 2017,” a one-hour show with hosts Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union, and his wife Mercedes Schlapp, a Washington Times columnist and FOX News contributor.

The couple’s first guest: Steve Bannon, senior counselor to President-elect Donald Trump and a former radio host himself. The special six-week limited series is intended to provide listeners with an optimistic but practical conservative roadmap to navigate the incoming administration, the inevitable challenges and maybe some good news as well.

The theme of this year’s CPAC is “Reclaiming America’s Promise.” Once again, it will be staged at the spectacular National Harbor on the banks of the Potomac River, just south of the nation’s capital. The event typically draws about 12,000 people.

The inaugural preview show airs on SiriusXM on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET and will replay throughout the weekend. Preview the show here.
