BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Boise police say they arrested a suspect after two people were stabbed downtown overnight.

The department says the stabbing occurred at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday on South 6th Street. Two victims were taken to a hospital, one of whom appeared to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were interviewing the suspect. No further details were immediately released.
